PrintFriendlyA special talk on National Education Policy 2020 “New Education Vision for New India” was organised under the auspices of Dr.Syama Prasad Mookerjee Research Foundation where Prof. M.K. Sridhar was our Special Guest. Prof. Sridhar was a member of National Education Policy Draft Committee & is Formal Dean, Department of Management Studies at Bangalore University. Prof. Sridhar threw light on the New Education Policy 2020. He said that New Educational Policy is very flexible. It has multiple entry and exit points. Professor Sridhar also said that local language has been given importance in primary level classes, so there is no dispute related to language. New Education Policy aims at making youth of our country skillful and to create job opportunities for them, based on their skills and interests. He also observed that they sought suggestions from the public and received a lot of suggestions from all over the country. Committee built its framework based on these suggestions.
Sh Saji Narayanan, National President, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Sh Sundaram, National Convener, Swadeshi Jagaran Manch, Prof P.Kanagasabhapathy, Member ICSSR also participated in the discussion.
