उज्जवला योजना के तहत करीब 24 लाख मुफ्त गैस के कनेक्शन असम गरीब बहनों को दिए जा चुके हैं। जिसका परिणाम है कि असम में साढ़े 4 वर्ष पहले तक जहां करीब 40 प्रतिशत घरों में गैस सिलेंडर था, वहीं आज ये दायरा दोगुना, करीब 80 प्रतिशत हो चुका है
आप उस स्थिति को भी याद करिए जब यहां टी गार्डन में काम करने वाले बहन-भाईयों के बैंक खाते ही नहीं थे। जनधन योजना के तहत 7 लाख कामगार बहन-भाईयों के बैंक अकाउंट खुलवाए गए हैं। अगर मैं पूरे असम बात करूं, तो राज्य में करीब डेढ़ करोड़ जनधन खाते हमारी सरकार ने ही खुलवाए हैं
